Recur releases still breathing album

Lilongwe, Mana: Lilongwe-based Gospel hip-hop musician, Emmanuel Tawakali (stage name Recur) has released a 10-track album titled ‘Still breathing’ which carries the message of repentance and God’s love.

Speaking with Malawi News Agency (Mana) on Monday, Recur said the songs in the album will lead people to repentance and help them appreciate God’s love after listening to it.

“The Still breathing album has many issues addressing the people, apart from the areas I have singled out,” he said.

The gospel musician said people should buy the album which is being sold at MK1500 saying the album is so inspiring and it will teach despite entertaining them.

He further said Still breathing means the songs in the album will never fade away, but rather they will still breath.

“I want to assure you that the album will bless you and encourage you as it has already been blessing others,” he continued.

One of the songs in the album titled Nane goes like this, when you see me so shine/ ukandipeza ndikunjanja/ Zimadalitso nzosayamba/ see me I don’t have to worry Ambuye asamala ine/  Ambuye anandipeza ndili under/ nde wandikweza fans ikudabwa/komwe ndikuchokelako ndikutali ine/ tadutsazambi zaukali/

The artist said people who are looking for the album should get in touch with him through his Facebook page by username Recur Artist.

In a separate interview one of the listeners, Ernest Kalambo said the production of the album is superb and the lyrics in the songs are massive.

The album which has featured a number of artists was produced by four different producers, Big jay for the beats, Higrames, Dj brown and Hamzer for the volcals.
