Gospel Hip hop artist Gwamba is set to launch his album in Lilongwe tomorrow. Mama said God first, a track list of 12 songs was released on 29 September 2019 and has been selling on online music platforms.
The album was produced by Dj Sley and BFB in South Africa and Malawi. The songs feature artists from Malawi, Nigeria and South Africa.
The first launch show of the album takes place tomorrow at Lilongwe golf club. Gates will be open at 8AM at an entrance fee of MK500 and increased to MK1000 After 12AM.
The audience patronizing the show will be entertained by other local and international acts as well. Nimix from Nigeria and Praise Peterson from Zimbabwe have arrived in Lilongwe to perform at the launch.
Local artists who are performing are Fredokiss, Kell Kay, Lawi, Classick, Onesimus, The great Angels choir, Charisma and Toast. Hosting the show are TV presenter Blakjak and Thabie. Legendary Duo Symon and Kendall will shut down the show.

Gwamba’s real name is Duncan Zgambo. He works under Major1 Records. In 2014 he was appointed as ambassador of the UNFPA safeguard young people campaign. Gwamba has nine awards in total, five of which he received as a gospel artist.
